Flash web sites and flash intros: okay, so they may be pretty and have lots of bells and whistles, but the bottom line is that they are very much a one trick pony - once you've seen what they can do there's not much more to them. Here at I-COM we're not that hung-up on Flash, both from an SEO perspective (search engine robots can't index them easily) and also from a usability perspective (they can take far too long to load). It seems Google has recognised this with a new "skip intro" link.

Searchengineland reported yesterday Google appears to have begun rolling out a "skip intro" link in the listings so that you can skip past annoying flash based intros.
