The event went really well and new bloggers from the firm have already started publishing their thoughts.
In the session Mindy gave some great advice, the best part for me being tips for new business bloggers.
To summarise the tips were:
- Write about subjects you find interesting
- Add to the conversation - don't just repeat other people's thoughts and news
- Don't fear controversy, but don't deliberately court it
- Be honest at all times
- Always respond to comments, both positive and negative
- Always remain professional and friendly
All great points, but for me it's perhaps even simpler - successful blog posts convey their personality and opinions.
