The iPhone 5 was launched recently, and a lot of people were waiting with baited breath to see how good Apple maps was actually going to be. Unfortunately for Apple, it didn’t take consumers long to find the pitfalls of this mapping system and I’m sure Steve Jobs did a few rotations in his grave that day.
Apple decided to introduce its own mapping a year ahead of the expiration date of its Google Maps contract. The company came to this decision because it felt Google Maps was lagging behind Android maps, which features turn-by-turn navigation and has been available on the Android phone for quite some time. Google was also not happy with Apple’s contract renewal terms, which is why this beautiful partnership ended in well.... Apple maps looking pretty funky.
Below are my personal favourite fails.
I don't fancy getting on a plane at Manchester airport right now..........

You might like to take your car in for a service after driving on these roads.....

Sears Tower.........

These are a few instances in hundreds, if not thousands of errors. So my big question is:
Did nobody at Apple check this before it was rolled out!?!?!
