Real Time Results at the Top of the Organic Results in Google?

I've just stumbled across a SERP on Google which is showing the real time result above the organic results. I've not seen this before.

I'm wondering whether this means Google will start to show real time results for breaking stories at the top of the page along with news stories as this is likely to provide a better user experience?
