Crains Manchester Business newspaper yesterday published its list of the top digital agencies in Manchester and surrounding towns.
The list is generated by companies themselves submitting information to the paper, so it should perhaps be taken with a bit of a pinch of salt... but we're pleased that we come out as the 11th biggest agency in the region in terms of fee income.
It's also pleasing to see that we could claim to be the largest specialist search agency.
However, the thing that's really interesting to me is that we have one of the lowest revenues per head of all the agencies. Some might suggest that this is down to inefficiencies; I prefer to think that it's a result of our strategy.
We believe that investing in people who can do a great job for our clients is a good thing, gaining impressive search results is all about hard work and involvement; to do that you need people spending time on the accounts.
With some of the ratios that can be seen on the list, either we're undercharging or some firms are making hay whilst the sun shines.
